Video Preselection Round

(Video submission deadline: 25th May 2026 – see video requirements on the Regulation page)

Each competitor must submit a video with a program lasting between 15 and 20 minutes, which must include:

One Étude, chosen from the works of one of the following composers:
F. Chopin, F. Liszt, A. Scriabin, S. Rachmaninov, S. Prokofiev, C. Debussy, or G. Ligeti.
It will be possible of course to play more etudes.
The remainder of the program is free, provided that the total duration of the program (including the Etude) remains within the required time limit.

Live First Round – July 10th

(July 10th  2026 – Maximum 20 selected competitors)
Each competitor must present a free-choice program lasting between 15 and 20 minutes, which must include:

a single Étude, chosen from the works of one of the following composers:
F. Chopin, F. Liszt, A. Scriabin, S. Rachmaninov, S. Prokofiev, C. Debussy, or G. Ligeti.
Only one Étude is required. It’ s possible of course to play more etudes. 

 

Repeating pieces performed in the Video Preselection Round is allowed.

Live Second (Final) Round – July 11th

(11th July  2026 – Maximum 6 finalists)
Each finalist must present a free-choice program lasting between 30 and 35 minutes. 

Repeating pieces performed in the Video Preselection Round is allowed, but not from the Live First Round.
